No Loitering After School (IN! pg 7)
Q1) Why Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform?
The principal of the school said hat they want to emphasis on inculcating in their student to exercise good habit like using the time prudently.One of the student said that she think that the school rule is set must be to let the student to keep out of troubles like gang or drug addicts.
Q2) Do you agree with this rule? Explain your answer.
I somehow agree to the rules because i understand what the principal thoughts and care toward the student in her school.Loitering can cause a lot of problem such as meeting bad mate or involve in a very illegal business such as importing and exporting drug ,cigarette and many other things.
The intentions of this rules is to teach student how to control their time other than in school and at home and to let them have time towards homework and studies.another intention is to let them feel pride in their uniform at school and outside school when they have special activity with the school.As i am a student,i must also stand at the side of the student.What most of the student think is the school want them not to disgrace their school and destroy the reputation of the school.But i what i think is when a student done a very good thing like helping the police in something the school would not blame that student and will praise him.
I somehow also disagree with this rule because of this is unreasonable.As from the article i could see that some student must go home and change then they packed their lunch had then go home again.Before setting this rule they must think of student health.Some student can choose not to buy food from the school and go to a mall to buy heir favorite food.They should change the rule like ''after buying your lunch,like about 1h after the school end then we sent our petrol to catch student'' This rule that i mention is more reasonable then the current one.
After setting this rule, many of the student is so unhappy that they wanted to resign from the school.Not only the student the parent also very unhappy.Some parent even help their child to disobey the rule even they know it is useful in some way but unreasonable in most way.
